Ruby joined the Allison Crescent Veterinary Team in 2026 and is already right at home caring for our patients and their people! 🐾 Ruby holds a Certificate II in Animal Studies and completed her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing in 2025. She has a particular passion for imaging and diagnostics, but what she loves most is making sure every patient feels safe, comfortable and cared for while they’re in hospital. Ruby’s journey into veterinary nursing was inspired by her childhood dog, Benji, who became very unwell with congestive heart failure in 2023. She was so touched by the kindness and care shown by the veterinary nurses looking after him that she knew she wanted to do the same for other pets and their families. Since becoming a vet nurse, Ruby has even added a few new furry family members of her own — an elderly cat and two rabbits! 🐰 When she’s not at the hospital, you’ll find Ruby soaking up the sunshine and spending time with her two dogs, Josie and Valentino, and her rabbits, Lola Hopps and Romeo. With a huge love for animals both inside and outside the hospital, Ruby is a wonderful addition to our team! 💕
